I trained in Liverpool College of Occupational Therapy from 1980-1983 gaining a diploma in OT. From there, I spent 4 years working in a busy district general hospital in Swansea gaining experience in a wide range of specialities including Psychiatry, Orthopaedics, Neurosurgery, Rheumatology, Medicine and Stroke Rehabilitation.
I moved to Bristol in 1987 to work in the Hand Rehabilitation Unit at The Bristol Royal Infirmary dealing mainly with Orthopaedic hand injuries. Also, I have worked in private practice since 1997.
I have experience of treating a varied range of hand conditions including: fractures, tendon injuries, nerve injuries soft tissue injuries, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, sports injuries and congenital conditions.
