Privacy Statement

What information do we collect about you and how to we use it?

When you register with Clifton Physiotherapy you will be asked to fill in a Registration Form.  This contains personal details and contact information about yourself.

We will use this information to contact you directly either by telephone or e-mail to discuss medical queries or remind you of appointments. 

Clifton Physiotherapy will not disclose this information to any third parties (unless required to do so by law, legal requirements or a legal process served on us) or use it for any marketing purposes.  

We are required by law to keep your records for 7 years.  For minors (under 18’s) we are required by law to keep their records until the age of 25.  After this time your personal information will be shredded and removed from our computer.

If you do not wish to be contacted via e-mail or telephone please inform us in writing, please note this may delay how quickly we are able to deal with medical queries or any issues arising from third party letters from GP’s, insurance companies or consultations with consultants.

With your consent, we may provide medical information to GP’s/insurance companies/consultants and consultations with other medical professionals.

Access to your information and correction

You have the right to request a copy of the information we hold about you.  If you would like a copy of some or all of the information we hold, please e-mail or write to us at the following address;

We want to make sure your personal information is up to date and accurate.  You may ask us to update or remove information that you think is inaccurate.
