Wendy Rushworth

Wendy Rushworth MCSP, HCPC 

Wendy is a highly experienced specialist musculoskeletal (MSK) Physiotherapist, having trained and worked in London and then in Bath and Bristol teaching hospitals and in GP and community clinics for over 30 years.

Wendy brings extensive knowledge of the management of acute and long term MSK conditions, particularly those causing persistent pain.

She maintains up to date knowledge of evidence based practice and interventions to ensure ongoing professional learning and development. 

Wendy has a particular specialist interest in the interaction of the mind with the body and the influence of stress and emotions on symptoms.

As part of her initial assessment, Wendy will take a detailed verbal history, and assess your movement and physical and emotional well-being.

Alongside a traditional physiotherapy approach, Wendy provides exercises, education and advice on self management, enabling you to actively participate in your own recovery and achievement of your goals,  with a resulting improvement in overall quality of life.
